springs broken on both side of window

A quick learner from 48105 says:
Dear Sir/Madam,

Our window is hard to be left also will not stay at left position. After took the sash off and found springs on both side are damaged, each side has two pieces of springs. I can only find "MEGA 6.5 33""makings on one piece of the spring and can not found anything else. The sash size is about 29"high and 37.5" wide and weighted about 20 lb. Is there any replacement for those parts?

Thank you very much!
Tina

Hello,

Take a look and compare your coils balance assembly to the 15-111 pivot shoe, which uses the S160 coil springs, as well as the related items shown on our product pages.

If your sash weighs exactly 20-pounds, you can use two S160-5 coils on each side of the window. Thank you.

Thank you very much Casey! I am glad I finally found the right place to get those parts. I also found plastic door guide replacement on the bottom of shower glass door.

I just have one more question about the S160 Coil Springs. Will it be easier to use one S160-10 instead of S160-4 and S160-5?

Thanks again,
Tina

We are happy to help. I agree that one S160-10 on each side could support your 20-pound window sash as well. Let us know if you have any other questions.
