storm door from SEARS in 1988.

Question

I would like to replace a broken storm handle. part 40-130 looks like what I could use; but my door needs this installed on the left side of the door (outside). If I just turn this one upside down; the deadbolt inside will miss the metal slot that is already in our door frame. Does it come to open for a door swinging from left to right ? and how much for shipping to Ohio ? thank you

Hello,

The 40-130 can still work for either side interchangeably since the inside latch and deadbolt are two different pieces. All you have to do is remove the latch and flip it around and keep the deadbolt plate in the same position so that it will engage with the metal slot that you mentioned.
