storm door lock

A quick learner from Ohio says:
I was unable to open my storm door, the handle came down, but the door won't open. It is as the lock is stuck. My handyman asked me to purchase the lock. I checked the dimension, looks like I need the 40-191 mortise lock. Do I need to get the strike plate too?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for posting. If your old strike plate is undamaged, then I don't think there would be a problem using it with the new lock. Otherwise, see our 40-191S
