Home Owner from connecticut
looking for the replacement sweeper sash lock to replace multiple broken locks. It is the same piece as in the "This Old House" DIY video

but cannot find the part.

Hello there. I'm afraid I don't know what locks those are in that video either, since it a SWISCO video or anything we shot; furthermore, many sash locks have that exact same look, as you can see here. The best thing to do is to tell us the hole spacing on your existing lock, or the distance between the center of each mounting hole. That, as well as a photo of the actual lock just to be safe, would be the best way to narrow down what you need. We'll do our best to help from there.

Here are some pictures of the actual lock. The distance between the center of each mounting hole is 2 inches. I did make sure it is not 2 1/16 but actually 2. Almost every window lock in the entire house is broken. Any help I would appreciate. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us. I am personally familiar with this lock, but I'm sorry to say that there is nothing in our inventory that will replace it. The issue is that step-down on the front edge to accommodate the shape of the frame. This is a unique design feature and there is nothing in our inventory that is comparable.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. As far as I am aware this isn't a lock that's made anymore.

Thanks anyways. I appreciate the information.

You're very welcome. I'm sorry again that we can't be of any help on this project.
