tension spring height

A quick learner from Colorado says:
Can you please tell me what the height is on this leaf spring. Your website states the length (3 inches stretches to 4) and the width but I need the approximate height please.
I am trying to take up a gap in how the solar screens fit after having replacement windows installed. The screens are in perfect shape and I really don't want to spend the money to have them made again since they are a custom size.

If this is the most "aggressive" spring that you have i.e. ¾ in height then it might work if I place them top and bottom ? worse case- and then drill holes in the side of the frame and place a less "aggressive" spring on the side given the width where the bulk of the problem is.

Currently, the holes in the frame where the spring would install measures 3 3/8" apart- to the center so I am assuming that I would lose 3/8th in height with the 70-194 given it measures 3" across give or take?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Normally, the height of the leaf spring is 1/2". Take a look at the 70-008 and 70-009 pull pins, along with the related video. See if you could install either of these pins on the opposite side from the springs. This might work to secure you screen.
