Can you please tell me what the height is on this leaf spring. Your website states the length (3 inches stretches to 4) and the width but I need the approximate height please.
I am trying to take up a gap in how the solar screens fit after having replacement windows installed. The screens are in perfect shape and I really don't want to spend the money to have them made again since they are a custom size.
If this is the most "aggressive" spring that you have i.e. ¾ in height then it might work if I place them top and bottom ? worse case- and then drill holes in the side of the frame and place a less "aggressive" spring on the side given the width where the bulk of the problem is.
Currently, the holes in the frame where the spring would install measures 3 3/8" apart- to the center so I am assuming that I would lose 3/8th in height with the
70-194 given it measures 3" across give or take?
