the cracking mechanism probably need to be replace

Question

looking from inside - the is a bay window left window that open out to the left.  the spiral screw thing does not stay in when turn.  it keeps coming out and the plastic cover will pop.  if i push in and push pressure it will open but not close as i m not pushing in to turn it to close.  i assume it is stripped and probably need replacement.  please help thank you

Thanks for reaching out! The base from your window operator is similar to quite a few we have. I'm confident we can provide a replacement recommendation but I'll also need to see a photo of the operator arm(s) to determine a replacement. You may need to open/close the window manually to obtain the photos.
