the attached is an internal tilt latch for a syron window. we are having a hard time finding replacement parts. we can go with a top mounted if we have to do so but would like the correct part

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid we don't have an exact match for this internal tilt latch. You may be better off converting to surface mount tilt latches like our 26-228 and 26-229. See the video below for details.
