I believe you could use a shim installed under the keeper part of the lock on the top window sash. Make sure the hole centers match your keeper. I think this might work.

does the 90-161 lock continue to make the fit tighter as you push it completely shut? We are looking for a higher quality sash than the type Home Depot sells, need to make older windows stay up/shut by using lock mechanism that won't allow them to drop down/seperate.
