tilt channel balances

Question

I have about 9 or 10 Windows that need to have the Channel Balances replaced or repaired. Some of the little plastic rollers in the block and tackle devices are broken causing the lines to stick instead of roll freely and manipulate the springs.

The channels and the springs appear to be in good shape.

Six windows have channel Balances that are marked ?Unique 33-C-30?.

I have not checked the other larger windows yet for size.

What do you suggest I repair or replace these Channel Balances with?

The unique window balance manufacturer has gone out of business, however, we are still able to offer a replacement for your window. For this one in the photo, we believe our Series 795-34 with a 1-1/4" wide bottom T-Lock shoe and a screw way clip attached on the top cord should work in your balance's place. Carefully compare the two balances to see if it's a match. When choosing an option, you would go with our 34C based on your stamping of "33-C-30" which holds a sash weight of 22-27 pounds.
