Question

I can't remove the parts without cutting the window plastic. I don't have a jam spreader. The window weighs approximately 7 pounds.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Your balance assembly appears to be a match for our Series 210. The stamp indicates the 4 pound weight option per side, so see the S210-04.

If your window track doesn't have cutouts, then you need to make the cutouts yourself. The video below will go into detail on how this works. I wouldn't recommend jamb spreaders unless you were a professional looking to repair windows for a living. Otherwise making the cutout is the standard method for homeowners.
