tilt wash assist

A home owner from New Jersey says:
I am trying to reinstall a tilt wash assist that fell out when my wife was cleaning the windows but am having a hard time based on your directions in other posts. The Tilt Wash Assist I have I am unable to compress the sides. It's made of hard plastic. It also appears to be beige in color not white or grey. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what the issue may be. You may need have to remove the jamb liner to install the tilt wash assist. You could try putting wax on the sides, then place one side in the groove and work the other side with a putty knife.
A home owner says:
One tilt wash assist fell out of the channel of the window (installed 2002). I believe the wings on the lower end broke off. I have included photos below.

I would appreciate your assistance in obtaining the correct part and instructions for installation. Please note, the item is hard plastic.

Thank you

Hello,

Your photos do appear to match the 20-020 but you'll need to confirm that the dimensions on our product page match up to yours. Also, note that this is an Andersen brand part and that this may not work if yours didn't have the same winged pieces on the bottom originally. Thanks for posting.
