tilted sash window

Have 30 year old sash tilt aluminum window (very heavy) which will not stay up. It has two 23 inch spiral balances on each side. What replacement parts will I need in addition to the crank. Thanks

Check out our Series 600 spiral balance with a 5/8" diameter outer tube and see if this matches your own part. For the charging tool, see our 75-006.

It matches the 600 spiral. Will I require four balances, two per each side?

Yes, it would probably be a good idea to replace all the balances at once.
