took adjusting screws out

Home Owner from boone nc
I took my sliding patio screen door out to have the screen repaired. Unfortunately I took the adjusting screws out and marked them top and bottom. I have the screen back but cannot put the screws back. I thought I could just screw them back in but I can't. Is there a way to screw them back in.
Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us. You say that you had the screen cloth replaced. What most likely happened was that the screen spline (like the 59-150) might have blocked the screw hole. It would have been best to leave the adjustment screw in the door frame. They would have screened right over it. You will need to open up the screw hole. A drill would work, but you could damage the screen cloth you just had replaced. Try using an scratch awl or an ice pick to move the spline over a little or use the tool to open up the screw hole. Take a look at the related videos on this page and see if that helps.
