top finger lock

Question

Gentlemen or Ladies,

I have successfully removed my Arcadia Slider from my 1962 Eichler. My only remaining problem is how to extract the roller assembly from the extruded aluminum track, I can't seem to defeat that little finger on top which blocks the assembly from removal. I believe it to be a # 81-082 based on your pictorial. If I can get it out, I will need two of them.

In the meantime I will reinstall the door and await your reply.

Thanks for posting, Ralf. You would have to take the door apart and remove the bottom rail. This roller has hooks on top of the housing. What you need to do is push the housing so that it unlocks from the rail. The hooks clips right into the rail. To extract the housing, push the hooks int he opposite way.
