I can't get my 80-102 track cover to stay on its track. The top track is one I have been trying to install on it was sanded smooth but cannot get them to get going without bending up as I go. Tried a small block, hammer direct and a longer block same issue: wants to keep bending up as I go and will not stay on at all. watched videos twice and is not responding like video installation at all. measured all pieces and check same size so did not want to try another cover and destroy it. Even when on at beginning does not seem like a very solid fit.
Any help welcome

What I have done in cases such as this was to install a small screw like the 33-071 at each end to help secure the track cover. You want to install the screw close to the end of the track. It should not interfere with the rollers because they are set back from the end of the door.
I know of one installer who uses Epoxy to glue the track in place, but that can get messy. I don't like it, but it is a possibility. I think that with a screw at each end and the door weight holding down the track in the middle area, the track should stay put.
Also check to see if there is a "sag" in the middle of the track which could be causing a problem.
