Trying to Find Correct Pivot Shoe

A home owner from Georgia says:
Hello....I ordered the pivot shoe shown on the left from you; however, the opening is too small for the window sash to fit into. The one on the right is the original pivot shoe. They are the exact same size, except for the sash opening. It fits perfectly into the cutout. Please advise as to which pivot shoe would be the best replacement.

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear the 15-045 didn't work for you; you can view our return policy here. I actually think it's likely the 15-045 and your old pivot shoe are not exactly the same in dimensions. The most relevant dimensions for a pivot shoe are the width and thickness. These dimensions often can be pretty discrete, sometimes going into the X/32" range, and since these dimensions are what determines if the shoe can fit in your window track, it's best to be as precise as possible.

Now, I suspect your shoe may be closer in size to our 15-173 shoe, which is 9/16" thick and 31/32" wide, or possible our 15-134 shoe, which is 3/8" thick and 31/32" wide. But ultimately, you'll need to compare both with your original shoe to see if either of these match best. If you're uncertain, give us that precise width and thickness of your old shoe, and we'll do our best to find what you need. Many thanks.
