trying to replace window cam

Home Owner from Southeast Ohio

Hi Swisco - I recently purchased a couple of Cam Handle Lock, LH Product Code: 38-060 in attempt to repair a broken handle.

When I removed the base of the existing cam, I discovered that the old base simply had drywall like anchors to secure it to the frame of the window. Any recommendations on how to anchor my replacements to the window?

Thanks for reaching out to us. The 38-064 and 38-065 handle locks might be a better match but take a look and see what you think.

As for installing, a local hardware store should be able to help you pick out the proper type of anchor.
