tube balance for window sash

item; 70-L-25S. Attached please find a picture of the tube balance. The tube balance is 25 inches long, with the width of 5/8 or 9/16 inches. The tip appears to be black. Thank you for your kind consideration, Charles

Looks like you have an older non-tilt window. I would recommend looking at our S500-25 spiral balance with a black tip bushing. For the bottom bracket, I recommend our 17-012. This hooks on to the balance spiral and then screws to the bottom of the sash. Please review this hardware and let me know what you think!

thank you for your reply, but don't see the S500-25 with a black bushing. i would note that the window appears to weigh about ten pounds

Oh, I'm sorry. The black tip is standard on many lengths, but it seems it is not the case for this one. That said, if your sash is 10 pounds, I would recommend the Red Tip color option.
