upper felt seal for Certain Teed thermopane windows

Question

The seal that forms a tight fit between the bottom and top window is warn out.  It slides into a groove.  Currently without the seal there is an air gap between the two windows when they are locked.  The cold air just pours into the room through that narrow slit.

Thanks for posting. It sounds like you might be referring to the wool pile weather striping in the window. If so, to determine the correct replacement recommendation I'll need to know the width of the base and the height of the pile.
