upper rail guide
I have a no name casment window. The guide on the top of the window that connects the window to the rail has failed.
It appears that one of the 4 ears that slide onto the rail has broken off.
Let me know if you need additional informatio or pictures to help identify the part.
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like this may be the track slider piece that allows the window hinge arm to travel when opening and closing the window. I'm happy to provide you with a replacement recommendation but I'll need to see a photo of the entire mechanism to identify the correct part.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you might have.
Here are some additional photos.
Please let me know any additional information.
Have a great day.
Thanks!
John
Hi John,
Thanks for the additional photos. Your casement window hinges can be replaced with either the 10" 36-048 or 14" 36-049 2-Bar Hinge Set. To determine which of these is the right fit for the window, you'll need to confirm the length of the sill track and compare the rest of the dimensions.
These sets can be used to replace the top and bottom hinges on left and right handed applications.
I will get the measurments and place my order.
