This item has a flat wound coil around the 3/8 metal tube for part of its length? I don't see anything like that on your site. Do you have a replacement? Sorry, I only have photos of the removed balance.

The tube under the spring isn't what you want to measure. Your balance almost certainly had an outer tube that simply broke off. Can you confirm? It will probably be 5/8" or 9/16" in diameter, making it our Series 600.
