vinyl window latches

Quick Learner from Maplewood NJ

Photos attached. The catches are integral with the upper window (i.e., no easy way to remove it, except from the inside).

I could: replace the latches only. I can see there might be a few that might work, but I'm not sure what will "catch' properly.

Or I could put new latches in. If so, there is not enough horizontal space on the upper window to attach a Pella style catch--it's about 1/8 of an inch or so, not enough to support any kind of screw mount.  Sooo, if there was something with a vertical mount, maybe that would work. If it exists.

If there was something in white, that might be better. But if the first option is better and those brass/brown colored ones are the only option, I'll live.

Hello,

We did carry a sash lock similar to yours at one time but, unfortunately, it has been discontinued and we have not been able to locate a suitable replacement. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
