wanting to make handle set keyed

I sent you a picture of this handle from inside the same door?I want to make this keyed without buying a new handle set and wanted to know if that was possible?

It looks like you could pop out that circular cutout in your external handle and use our 82-310 to make your handle set keyed. Thank you!

That thing on the top of the lock cylinder that looks like a shark fin... wont that keep the lock cylinder from fitting in the hole? Or do you slide it through from the inside and if you do is there a slot allowing for that fin thing to slide into the door cavity ? Otherwise it looks like I would need to purchase the outside patio door handle that is already fitted with a key lock.. please advise .

The 82-310 is inserted from the other side of the outside handle. You remove the outside handle from the door, knock out the cutout hole, and insert the 82-310. See the video below. It's for a different lock, our 82-315, but it still may be helpful for illustration.
