weather seal replacement for 1930's double hung windows

Hi,

I am in the process of removing lead paint from my double hung windows built in 1930. There is a bronze or cooper weather seal for the top sach which is attached to the upper jam. each weather seal is about 30"long and are attached with copper nails. I need to remove the weather seal to remove all lead paint. I am looking for replacements weather strips, I would prefer bronze of copper, but would use a modern replacement product if you have something available.
