Will 39-020 work for a replacement on a weathershield casement window circa 1973?

I'm not familiar with that window, so I can't really say. How does the 39-020 compare to your old operator? If you want, you can take a few pictures of your operator and upload them here for me to compare.

Weathershield was made by Anderson window company in Medford Wisconsin. They just went out of business about three years ago. If that doesn't jog anyone's memory I'll upload a picture.

Thanks for the additional information! However, that doesn't tell us if the 39-020 can work for your operator. I think at this point pictures would be the best route.
