weight baring for channel balancer

I have a engraved 22 5 bsi on my old balancer that needs to be replaced, is that the weight of 22lb?

The stamp indicates the spring strength calibration, but it's not a literal representation of how heavy the sash is, in pounds. A stamp off "22 5" usually corresponds to our 2250 option, but you can always weigh your sash to confirm.
