what is this broken piece?

The window cannot stay if it's open. It will come down right away. We found this broken piece. What's this called? is there a replacement part?

It appears that you have a broken pivot. At first sight, your pivot bar resembles the 26-326 style. It would be best to compare to an undamaged version if possible. Please review below and let us know what you think!

The 26-326 pivot bar can be used on the left or right side of the window sash. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
