what part do i need

I hope I followed the instructions correctly. the length of just the metal part is 35" I do not know what the bottom plastic piece is supposed to look like, because it was broken off on all the channel balances I removed. Please let me know if I need to provide anything else.

It looks like you have our Series 370 channel balance with a spring strength option of 3430.
