I have a Milgard single hung (aluminum?) window with a broken channel balance (white cable is snapped). The channel balances have the code "23 5 CW CWC 9".
Is that enough info to identify the replacements?
The sash itself is approx 46x26, so pretty heavy.
I also found a small broken black plastic piece. Looks like some kind of clip. Do you know what it it's from

Thanks for posting! I am confident we can provide you with a recommendation for your channel balances but I'll need to see them removed from the window to determine the exact replacement. I've narrowed your balance down to a few difference series but I'll just need to see the pulley system in the center of the balance to confirm the correct replacement. This is where the spring and the string meet in the middle.
Please also confirm the measurement for the depth of your bottom shoe.
Thanks for confirming. Your balance can be replaced with the S380-24. You can select the 2350 stamp option, which can support a sash weighing 23 to 27lbs.
