Hi I'm trying to replace the white wool pile in vinyl windows.
The existing wool pile is 3/16x5/16. will the 3/16x1/4 in long pile work here?
also there are no openings at the ends of the channels. I can pry out the old weatherstripping. Is it possible to some how push the new weathering stripping into the channel? . Is there a tool for this?

To install wool-pile in a sash that doesn't have a cut out, you can put one edge of the wool-pile base under the groove, and with a putty knife, work the other side under the groove. We would feel better if we can match your weather stripping at the 5/16 height. You can send sample pictures of your wool-pile to us by attaching them to a reply post.

I too am trying to replace wool pile that is 3/16" x 5/16" (measured 3 times).
What is the correct order SKU for white wool pile at this size (3/16" x 5/16")?

The 58-127 appears to be the closest match.
