Hello there. Fortune favors the bold, even when it doesn't completely work out. Now, I don't know the size of these holes, and to be honest you're probably going to need to consult with a local hardware store to maybe install some plates to cover them up, because none of our screen door lock assembles are particular large and I have doubts they'll be able to do this on their own. I want you to consider our 83-006. This is a surface mounted assembly, meaning there's no cutting or anything of the door to make it work. You just need to drill holes to mount it.
