I have a property built in 1988 with aluminum double hung windows (brown). The original interal latch (comparable to Item #26-069 is 2-3/4" in length by 5/8" width and 11/16" depth. Will item 26-069 work to repair the broken latches I have?

Our 26-069 appears to match your dimensions, but I'm not sure if it's what you have. Do they also look the same?
