To know what spring weights to select, you need to look for stamp codes on the springs themselves. If there are none or you are uncertain, weigh your window sash. Give us the exact weight and we'll work out what you need.

For a window sash weighing 18 pounds, our S190-940 coil spring should work. You will just need one spring in each side. This can be used with the 15-186 coil balance clip. Look it over and let us know what you think.
