In addition to being 24 " metal to metal long. The balance is 7/8 " wide at the end. The metal in 1/2 wide.

Our S377-24 channel balance should be the replacement for you. You would go with the 2310 option based on your stamping of "23-1" which holds a sash weight of 5-9 pounds.
