Hello! Looks like you have an old wood window. The balances made for this setup probably haven't been made in decades, but I've personally had a lot of luck using the Series 500 spiral balance in combination with the 17-012 bottom bracket. I feel very confident that you can use these two products to repair your window. Look them over and let me know if you had any questions.

Balance length ?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

The rule of thumb for determining the length is to measure the height of the visible glass of the sash that needs the balance and then add 3", if it's the bottom sash, or 1", if it's the top sash.

For example, if the bottom sash has a visible glass height of 20", you want a 23" long balance.

If the top sash has the same glass height, then you want it to be 21" instead.
