window balance

Question

I need new window balances. I live in a ranch style home and I have a total of 32 windows in my home.
The windows are double hung tilt in Vinyl windows installed back in the year 1995
The size of the widows are :

34 1/2 wide x two x 33 H equaling 66 H
I had a handyman come and give me free estimate on repairing my balances he told me the size that I would need 32 inches but I have no idea as to what I actually need. The company sent me an estimated cost and it is outrageously a high price for labor and for the parts.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. This looks like a tilt window. With that in mind, I recommend the 3/8" diameter Series 900 or 9/16" diameter Series 600. You'll have to measure the outer tube to determine the best match. The video below will also go over the replacement process.
