window balance

Hello, my window&rsquo;s sliding balance are broken and I would like to buy replacements for them, but I&rsquo;m not sure which one to buy

Thanks for your post! The shoe on the balances appears to have wings but it looks like they're warped/folded in. Can you confirm?

The balance in the first photo is jammed in the window channel, so you'll also need to replace the top sash guide, which is the black nylon piece at the top corner of the sash. I've included a few video tutorials below with an explanation on how to repair a jammed window and how to replace the top sash guides.
