Thanks for posting, James. Looks like you have the 19-005 top attachment. Are you sure that you have the 15-002? A balance with a winged top and non-winged bottom does not fit any of our standard Series, and so will have to be custom made. Please confirm that the 15-002 is what you have and I can make up a custom order form for you. I would also like you to tell me what your stamp reads. This will help us determine the appropriate option for your custom order.

Hi Tom.The bottom measures 1"x1"x1/2" and has no wings.as for the lettering I cannot read it.also on the subject of wings I don't see why wings on the bottom would not work as there is nothing that would interfere with it ?

Yes, if your bottom attachment does not have wings, but your top attachment does, there is likely something in the jamb that would interfere with the bottom attachment if it did, in fact, have wings. It's always better to replace your hardware with what was installed originally. You may not know for sure why the original installers used the hardware they chose, but if your window has worked up to this point then it's best to go with that.

Now, if you can't read the stamp, then I will have to know what the weight of your window sash is. Please remove the sash from the window and weigh it on a scale, then let me know what you get.
