It's 30" long (metal only), 1/2" or 9/16" wide channel, bottom shoe 1 1/16" deep, wings on top and bottom shoes, stamped "29 9 CX CMC 4" It closely resembles the 385 series.
I also have a second balance to replace, pictures attached. It has the same style and dimensions except it is stamped 29-4 JX CMC 11. Thank you, I appreciate your assistance.
Thanks for writing in! Based on the information presented, it sounds like the Series 385 Channel Balance is the correct replacement. You are likely getting the 1-1/16" depth measurement due to wear and tear on the shoe.
You'll need the S385-30 channel balance since the metal is 30" long. For the balance marked with a 29-4, you'll need the 2940 stamp option.
Unfortunately, I am unable to cross-refence the stamp from the balance marked with a 29 9. With that said, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash. There is a chart below the product description of the S385-29 that lists the weight ranges each stamp option can support.
