window balance replacement

I have raised the window enough to read the markings on the current window balancers. They are stamped 25 5 BSI PN

1 What does this mean?
2 Does it give me a sash weight limit?
3 Can I order balance replacements from you and what is the cost

Hello there. Yes, that stamp indicates the weight range the channel balance can support. To know what channel balance you need however, you'll need to remove it from the window and show us clear pictures of the nylon attachments on both sides of the metal channel. The combination of fittings used determine the balance you need. We'll do our best to assist you from there.
