window balance shoe

Home Owner from St Paul MN
the 5 photos are the window balance shoes on my parent's 25 year old tilting double hung window. One shoe looks fine but the 2nd shoe looks cracked. Would you be able to determine a replacement balance shoe by these 5 photos? Thanks for your help.

Hello there. I am afraid we need more information to help. Pivot shoe replacements are determined by both the overall style of the shoe, and then the width and thickness of the shoe itself. The width and thickness can only be accurately measured by removing the shoe from the window. The video below shows how to do this. If you can provide us the width and thickness, we should be able to narrow this down for you. In the time being you can view our selection of pivot shoes here
