Hello,

I would recommend starting by comparing the S371-34 channel balance to your original assembly. Also, the balances from the same window should have the same stamp codes. If the 3340 and 3350 balances are from the same window, I would recommend weighing your sash and following the chart under our balance product description to make sure that you choose the correct strength options for your window. The balance stamp is off two different the plastic ends were the same the 3350 was 9/16 wide sorry I didn't make that clear

Great, as long as the end fittings are the same then you can use the S371-34 for both windows but one will need 3340 strength options while the other requires 3350.

It's a bit strange that your width measurements are different but the 3350 balance channel looks a bit banged up, which could account for the difference. Please note that the S371 balance measures 1/2" wide. Thanks for posting!
