window balance sizes and colors

Quick Learner from maryland
The balances I'm replacing have a tube that is 27"3/4 long. The tubes are plastic. The cam is 5/16" wide. The plastic tube is 7/16" wide. They have black bushings and are for tilt out windows. The total extended lenghth is about 50". What balance do I need to order? My sizes, colors, and plastic tubes don't seem to match what you show. The window sash weighs about 20 lbs. Is it necessary to replace the "foot" pieces too? I'll need about 20 balances when I order. Thanks.

I recommend you take a look at our S600-28 spiral balance, with the red tip shoe option. This balance will support a sash weight of 20 lbs. If the pivot shoe is not broken, you can just replace the balance. However, if you do want to replace the pivot shoe(s), please send photos with dimensions for us to identify a replacement for you.
