window balance type

Hello I'm Josh Kurth and work for a property management company. we are starting to have problems with window balancers and would like to repair them in-house instead of subcontracting them out. I would love to learn how to identify which models we would order for certain windows. Here are some pics of one window balancer that needs to be replaced. Could you look at them and give me ways to identify the style.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either a S380 or S385 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need. There is a chart on the product
