window balancer

Question

The metal tube part is 25 inches long and slightly over 1/2 inch diameter . the guide in the end of the tube is red plastic. The shoe is about 2 inch from top to bottom and the width of the channel closest to the window where the shoe is , is about 13/16. Can I purchase a relacement for these and I would need the correct spring winding tool and info as to how to make adjustments and disconnect the spring from the shoe. I have multiple windows in need of this repair. Thanks for your help. bruce

Hi there!

Take a look at the 9/16" S600-25 with the red tip. The 15-015 resembles your old shoe, but you'll want to ensure the thickness and width match up. The 75-006 tool is sold separately. We also have a video tutorial that will go over the replacement process for tilt window spiral balances.
