window balances

Question

I have 11 windows of several different sizes. The all are the same style.
From looking at your website I think they are style 385. The metal channels are 1/2 inch. The shoe part is 1 3/32 inch deep. I am sending pictures to make sure I order the correct ones. The metal channels all are stamped BSI with numbers such as 16 9 0r 29 5.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll also need 2950 spring strength options for your 30" balances with 29 5 stamps. Unfortunately, the 16 9 stamp is from an outdated weight system, so you'll need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need for the 17" balances with that stamp. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.
