Hello there. I believe we can help, but we'll need more information to get started. Can you send us pictures of the balance in question, in particular of any appendage at the top and bottom, and of any stamp on its body? It is best to remove the balance from the window to obtain these photos. We may have more questions from there, but that will at least help us narrow things down for you. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us with these photos. Right off the bat, it looks like your balance has a unique configuration. Before we go any further, might it be possible to see the bottom fitting from a few more angles? I'd like to see it from the side and form underneath. Lastly, can you also tell me its depth?

These pictures are a huge help, thanks! We can supply this balance, but it will have to be a custom order since this isn't a stock configuration. There's only one detail I'm confused about: you said that the sash weight is 61 pounds, but according to the manufacturer (who I'm talking to now) your original stamp is only rated for 56 pounds, precisely. Can you verify the weight?

We can make this balance with a 61 pound spring rating, but I want to be 100% sure that this is what you need. Did you ever find that the window was hard to open? It may have even closed on its own.

Ultimately, the choice is yours if you want to stick with the 56 pound spring or if you wanted to go up to the 61 that we can get made for you. Let me know which one you want to go with and we can finally get the ball rolling on this. The final decision will have to be yours.

I had my guy weigh it on a scale when he was there. Its definitely 61 lbs. Could you also find the sash guide? and could you get me a price on the balancers and guides?
Thanks for all your help? I might be ordering more then just one set if the prices are decent.

Thanks

Sure, we'll have to keep talking to the manufacturer to get a quote for the 61 pound version. I'll get that to you ASAP, but it may take some time because it's a very uncommon size.

As for the top sash guide, I'm sorry for overlooking that before; my recommendation is the 18-192. Review its dimensions below to confirm.

Hello! I have good news. I came in this morning with an update on my desk in regards to your balance, and we can supply this.

I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link and price quote now that will let you add 2 of these to your cart, which is our minimum. Note that the lead time will be approximately 5-6 business weeks, since we have to have these made from scratch.

Please let me know if you wanted to make any changes to the quantity, or if you had any questions. I'm happy to help in any way that I can.
