length of window balance is 17 inches width is 1/2 inch
Only number marking is 16E as seen in 1763 jpg
Don't know the window make/manufacturer
Would like to order 2
Need to replace because the string broke inside
on one of the balances.

Hi, Gary.
At first glance, this looks like either our S380-17 or S385-17 channel balance. The S380 uses a 1" bottom fitting and the S385 uses a 1-3/32" fitting. However, your bottom fitting looks like it might be less than 1" but pictures can be deceiving so we suggest measuring yours to be 100% sure. If it is indeed less than 1", this will have to be a custom order. Let us know what you find and we can go from there.
