window channel balance

Question

I ordered two S385-14:14"Series 385 (Option:1320). The length is correct. But after installing, the window (a small one) keeps sliding down half way closed and will not stay all open all the way and hold the position higher. Did I choose the wrong Option #?

Hello! It definitely sounds like you ordered the wrong stamp option, yes. The 1320 is relatively light, able to carry only 6 through 9 pounds. If I were you, I would weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the chart on the S385-14 store page to verify which option would be better.
