Hey there, thanks for reaching out! I am confident that we have replacement balances we can recommend to you. However, to confirm that, with certainty, I'll need to see a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window.

I'll need to see any attachments that may have been left behind in the window to determine the correct series you'll need to replace these balances.

The stamps provided will only tell us the weight range your balances should be able to carry to support the weight of your sash.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The metal rail contains just a spring, and has no plastic parts on either end. There is a string with a hook coming out of the bottom of the rail.

In the second photo, I can see that there is a part connected to the bottom corner of the window. That is what we refer to as a pivot shoe. It is likely that the part that would connect the balance to this shoe could still in the window channel connected to the shoe or it is missing.

You'll need to find an undamaged balance from either a similar window or the balance that is on the other side of the is same window.

There is a chance that this might need to be a custom order balance, so it is important that we see this attachment so that we can provide you with an accurate replacement. We'll need to see it to identify the balance, in general but that information makes it that much more important.
